An open invitation from the Virtuist.

Welcome,

My name is Eddy. I recently launched this record label (Virtuist LLC) and run this home recording studio. I also collaborate regularly with other small recording/mixing/mastering studios. A group of us have been inspired in part by (1) our backgrounds in the punk, DIY ethos, and (2) the Esperanto Passport Service. Inspired by those and other sources of inspiration, we are launching the Virtuist Studio Passport, a branch of the Virtuist Collective. The idea is to build an informal network of bedroom, basement, indie recording studio owners who are open to sharing space, resources, and referrals. All free and open to anyone anywhere - nothing obligatory, just a way to connect.

I know for myself, I travel quite a bit for work throughout the US and Mexico, and would love to borrow some space for creative work when I can, or just have a reason to meet up with creators in other cities. In that same vein, I would love to open up my space and spend time with creatives passing through my city who might want to lay down a couple tracks or compare catalogues. In any case - one can never have too many excuses to build community.
